Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board Announces Shortlisting of Candidates for Sub-Inspector Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the results of the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the posts of Sub Inspector in the Home Department, UT Cadre.
This examination was conducted in accordance with Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2021, under item No. 668, from 07-12-2022 to 20-12-2022.
The results, which were notified under No. JKSSB COEOEXAM(UT)/54/2022-03 (7057013) Dated: 03-11-2023, have now led to the shortlisting of candidates who will proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
According to the Home Department’s S.O 214 dated 1st July, 2021, the number of candidates selected for the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be six times the total number of vacancies available in each category.
Candidates who meet the physical standards will then undergo the Physical Endurance Test (PET) based on the provided standards.
The list of candidates who are eligible for the PST/PET is provided in Annexure “A” to this notification.
The candidates who have been shortlisted for the PST/PET are advised to stay tuned for further details, including the date and venue of the tests, which will be notified separately.
It is important to note that being called for the PST/PET does not guarantee selection, as candidates must meet all other eligibility conditions as specified by the Board.

It should be emphasized that the PST/PET is of qualifying nature, and the final decision regarding selection rests with the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board.
