JKSSB: Final Selection List Released for Draftsman (Civil) Positions in Jal Shakti Department

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), has announced the final selection list for the recruitment of Draftsman (Civil) positions in the Jal Shakti Department.

The recruitment, advertised under Item No. 05 (Divisional Cadre, Jammu) and Item No. 06 (Divisional Cadre, Kashmir), was initiated through Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023 dated 11.04.2023.

In response to the department’s requisition for direct recruitment to 105 posts of Draftsman (Civil), the JKSSB conducted the OMR Based Test on 24.09.2023.

Subsequently, the board notified the results of candidates via Notification No. JKSSB/COE0EXAM(UT)/64/2023-03(7263602) dated 08.10.2023. Document verification was then carried out from 16.10.2023 to 19.10.2023, followed by a supplementary document verification on 25.10.2023.

A Selection Committee, constituted for this purpose, prepared the Provisional Selection list, which was approved by the Board in its 245th Board Meeting held on 15th November, 2023, and notified on 21.11.2023.

Subsequently, in response to an order from the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Jammu Bench, the Board issued a consideration order on 05.01.2024, wherein the claims of the petitioner were found devoid of merit.

After thorough deliberations and consideration of representations, the Final Selection List for the 105 posts of Draftsman (Civil) has been approved by the Board in its 253rd Board Meeting held on 05.01.2024.

The list, subject to the outcome of pending legal matters and inquiries, is now officially released.

Candidates can access the Final Selection List attached as Annexure-A to the official notification.

The formal recommendations to the Indenting Department will be made separately.
