Important Notice for Candidates Appearing in Upcoming Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) Examination

In preparation for the Accounts Assistant Examination scheduled on 28-01-2024, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner/District Development Commissioner/District Magistrate in Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, has issued a crucial advisory for candidates hailing from border areas such as Karnah, Keran, Machil, Budnumbal, and Jumagund.

Candidates are urged to ensure their presence at the District HQ Kupwara and its nearby regions one day before the examination. This precautionary measure aims to prevent any potential inconveniences arising from adverse or inclement weather conditions.

The notification, marked with the reference number No:-DCK/P8/24/200/241-45, emphasizes the importance of candidates being readily available to tackle any challenges posed by unpredictable weather on the examination day.

Signed by the Deputy Commissioner on 22/01/2024, the advisory has been disseminated to relevant authorities for wider circulation and awareness.

Among those notified include the Controller of Examinations at JKSSB, Srinagar, the Sr. Superintendent of Police in Kupwara, and the Sub-Divisional Magistrates in Karnah/Lolab.

Moreover, the District Information Officer in Kupwara has been tasked with publicizing this advisory to ensure it reaches the concerned candidates effectively.

Tehsildars in Keran, Karnah, Machil, and Trehgam have also been included in the distribution list for further dissemination.

Additionally, the District Informatics Officer, NIC Kupwara, has been directed to upload this advisory on the District Administration Website for wider accessibility.

For any urgent concerns or queries, candidates are advised to contact the designated authorities, including the PCR in Kupwara and Handwara.
